Head of Laboratory for Medical Mass Spectrometry (LMM). I have been interested in EVs in health and disease since 2004. Our research includes EV as diagnostic and prognostic markers for endothelial stress in neuroinflammation as well as the role of PTMs associated to EV.

- Isolation and characterization of EV by quantitative proteomics and PTM analysis in inflammatory diseases

- Development of novel IP methods for isolation of EV´s from biofluids

- Integration of proteomics based biomarker discovery and the EVarray as diagnostic platform
